Music
R&B / hip-hop
The records people know. Smooth transitions, throwbacks, new-school hip-hop and late-night R&B.
Afrobeats
High-energy records built for the crowd.
Amapiano
Deep grooves, log drums and tracks that give the set room to breathe.
Afro House
For the later part of the night when the energy needs to go up.
Selected performance
Kenya
Outdoor Waterfront Pool Party
DJ Oz × DJ Sulphur
An outdoor waterfront party for a university crowd combining Afrobeats, Amapiano, hip-hop and club records.
The sound
DJ Oz moves between sounds rather than staying inside one genre.
Expect R&B and hip-hop records you already know, Afrobeats that keep the room moving, Amapiano grooves, and Afro House when the night needs more energy.
The goal isn't to play a playlist. It's to read the room and take it somewhere.

Based in Dubai, DJ Oz brings together the music that shaped culture and energy, parties and travels: R&B, hip-hop, Afrobeats, Amapiano and Afro House.
Graduated from Goldsmiths, University of London — arts, design, social sciences, cultural studies, and computing.
His sets are built around progression: crowd intelligence, emotions and energy control.
